The widget word doesn't change every time I look. Why?
iOS decides when widgets refresh to save battery, so the word updates on
its own schedule rather than on every glance. On iOS 17 and later you can
tap the refresh button on the widget to move to the next word right away.
How do I change what the widget shows?
Open the app and pick a Widget Mode (Word, Example, Fill in the blank, or
Guess), a Level, a Topic, and how many words per day.
How do I hear a word's pronunciation?
Tap the widget to open the word in the app, then tap the speaker button.
Pronunciation works offline.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. Everything runs on your device with no network connection required.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up or login.
